1. Scope of Services

VMT Investigations provides investigative consulting, expert analysis, training, and advisory services. Services are non-legal, non-attorney, and non-law-enforcement in nature unless expressly stated in a written agreement.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Use of this website or participation in consultations does not create an attorney-client relationship. Clients are advised to consult licensed legal counsel for legal advice.

3. Advisory Nature of Services

All investigative consultations and analyses are:

  • Advisory and informational in nature

  • Based on available information at the time

  • Not guarantees of outcomes, findings, or legal results

4. Consultations & Billing

  • Initial consultations may be offered at no cost when expressly stated

  • Ongoing investigative consulting services are billed hourly

  • A four-hour minimum applies after the initial consultation unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Fees, scope, and terms will be confirmed prior to engagement

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Use services for lawful purposes only

  • Acknowledge that conclusions depend on information provided

6. Confidentiality

All client communications are treated as confidential to the fullest extent permitted by law, subject to legal disclosure requirements.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content, training materials, methodologies (including proprietary investigative frameworks), and written analyses remain the intellectual property of VMT Investigations unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • VMT Investigations shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service rendered

9. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless VMT Investigations from claims arising from misuse of services, unlawful activity, or false information provided by the client.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which VMT Investigations is principally based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting a form, or engaging services, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
